Our little bouncing bunny
She likes to dance and throw herself on the floor. It's hilarious.

Happy Halloween
We've had some uneventful couple of weeks since the last post. We've all had a cold that we're still trying to get over.
Kate is trying to make the switch from two to one nap during the day. We've only done it a couple days and she seems to be adjusting well. She is playing by herself for 15-20 minutes at a time - usually in her kitchen. She is talking and singing and dancing and twirling like none other.
Kannon is right on schedule for a New Year's arrival. I went to the doctor this week and everything looks good. I'm going every two weeks now. We've begun moving things around to get his room ready and should have his crib setup this weekend for him. I'm ready to have it all settled and ready for his arrival.
To celebrate Halloween Kate was a bunny. She thought she was pretty hot stuff. Thursday night we went to a fall festival at our church and she had a good time getting candy, playing games and watching everyone run around her. Last night we went trick-or-treating with our next door neighbors. Their little girl, Hannah, was a giraffe. They were quite the pair. Enjoy the pictures!

Finally...a new post
Time is absolutely flying!! I'm ready to slow things down a bit, but I'm pretty sure it's all about to get a lot faster. I feel like an old lady saying that, but I guess I'm not getting any younger...
We're doing good. Kate is super. She had her 15 month checkup last week and she weighs 23 lbs 5 oz. She is 33.5" tall, which is the average height of a 21 month old. She is long & lean. The doctor was very pleased with her development. Her favorite things lately are Sesame Street, playing outside, coloring & carrying her toys around the house in whatever container she can get her hands on...mostly she uses laundry baskets. She enjoys cooking in her kitchen and letting us try her concoctions and she has started becoming motherly to her baby dolls. She imitates everything we say and do.
Kannon is growing and seems to be running out of room already. We have 11 more weeks until he's due and I'm not sure how he's going to make it. My last doctor's visit went well and he has a steady, strong heart beat and everything is on track for January 2. We have a lot of work to do before he arrives, but we're beginning to make some headway around the house.
Dan is doing well. His job is steady. He's been playing a lot of golf lately with different tournaments for work, so he's enjoying that. He has also been playing flag football with some guys at the church we're going to.
I'm enjoying my work too. It's nice to be able to stay home and work in my pj's...that includes playing with Kate and my ReThink Money job.
Playing in the sand pit

She likes being behind the wheel.

Using her muscles
Hammin' it up.
Two peas in a pod...or pumpkin
On the hay ride
Notice her scab mustache where she skid on the concrete this week...we've been calling her Hitler.

The weather has definitely cooled off here and we're enjoying it. We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday and had a fun time as a family. Here are some pictures from our outing.
