It's been a while
Here are some pictures in no particular order from the last several weeks.
8 weeks old - Kannon started smiling on Dan's birthday (2/14). He is super cute and loves to smile and talk with us.
Kate saying "cheese" for the camera. She's a cutie!
7.5 weeks old
Kate decided to put her jacket and hat on all by herself...this was the result.
7 weeks old. The socks on his hands are to keep him from scratching his face...he doesn't have feet for hands...those are the only thing that stays on.

She likes to hold him...she thought it was pretty funny to stick her finger in the "pacy" as he sucked on it
My best friend, Allison, and her 7 month old son, McKinley, came to visit for a few days. It was great to spend time with her and finally meet McKinley. Kate really enjoyed playing with him and I hope it's an indication of how she'll play with Kannon as he gets bigger and more responsive. Not sure how I managed to get them in the same pose at the same time, but thought it captured them having a good time together. Dan was gone those few days playing golf with some friends. He had a great time away and of course loved the golf.
Kannon went for his 2 month checkup this morning. He weighs 12 pounds and is 23 inches long. He's very healthy and the doctor was pleased. We're trying to put rice cereal in his bottles to help with the spit-up. Hopefully this will bring him some relief. Kate's doing well. She's a good big sister and seems to really love Kannon...I guess like a 19-month old can love. Dan and I are good too. We're continuing to learn how to balance our new life. I'm thankful that Dan cares so much about us and helps out so much, even after working all day. He really is the BEST!!!
Guess that's it. I'll try to capture Kannon talking and post the video. It's easier said that done though...
