Pictures of Kannon

Proud Daddy!

First picture

Getting love from Big Sister

There are just a few pictures of Kannon from the last couple days. He's doing pretty well. He's lost more weight that the doctors wanted so we're staying another night at the hospital. We're anxious to get home and be together with Kate. She has done great with my parents and we're so thankful for them helping with her the last few days. She seems to like Kannon...she calls him "baby" and is very intrigued by him. She's not too fond of him crying and it upsets her. We have a fun life ahead of us with this little man. He's a good baby and seems very laid back. I look forward to sharing more with you over the next several days and weeks as we get settled in at home.

Kannon Josef Weber is here!

Kannon arrived today at 5:40am weighing in at 7 pounds 7 ounces, 20.75 inches long. He's good baby and looks just like Kate did when she was born. It's the best late Christmas present! I promise to upload pictures tomorrow after some more rest.

Ho-Ho-Ho

Like everyone else, we've been busy the last several weeks. We had a great Thanksgiving with Renee's parents in town. Kate adores them and had fun playing. They taught her Ring-Around-The-Roses...check out this video. She hasn't wanted to play it since they went home.

Kate started going to a Parents' Day Out program at a local church two days a week on December 1. She likes her teacher and adjusted well despite her attachment to home and Mommy. She missed last week because she was sick, but she'll get to go this week.

She is enamored with The Little Mermaid movie. She asks to watch it about 50 times a day. She also enjoys watching Sesame Street and can name all the characters and is beginning to recognize some of the letters and numbers. We limit her TV viewing to a minimum per day. She still really loves to read books and coloring.

We're getting ready for Kannon to arrive. Three weeks to go, but we're hoping he's a few days early and will have a 2008 birthday. We're ready for him to arrive and begin the journey as a family of four.

We're looking forward to Christmas and how much fun Kate will be this year. She quickly learned to say "Ho-Ho-Ho" anytime she sees anything related to Christmas. Our next post will either be Christmas pictures or pictures of Kannon. Merry Christmas!!!
