I guess I'm realizing that it is easier and less time consuming to upload pictures to facebook than it is the blog.
Maybe there is a way to link the two, but until I figure that out, check out my facebook page for updated pictures.
Santa has visited our house and we're ready for a fun day tomorrow.
Just a quick update, Kannon is well on his way to walking full time. He'll walk across the room to get to something and has great control. Kate is enjoying his development in this area and even told me yesterday that she wanted to play with him over doing playdough. They love each other and are going to be good buds. This is when I'm thankful they are close in age. Kannon is expressing his opinion more and more. Most of the time we can figure out what he's wanting, but we continue to learn his language. He is done with bottles (thank God!) and will be starting on whole milk this weekend. I can't believe he'll be 1 on Saturday. Time really has flown by. He makes us laugh constantly as you will see in the pics on facebook.
Kate recognizes most letters and calls them out when we are out and about. She loves to count things and most of the time she is accurate. She is pretty good until the upper teens and then she gets a little confused. She is very imaginative and can make anything fun. She is a TV-junkie and would watch it all day if we let her. Her latest favorite is Little Einsteins on Disney. She has enjoyed the time with our families the last couple of weeks and loved getting to play with them. It's hard living far away, but we make the most of it. She really enjoys her preschool class and getting to go play and learn new things.
Well, check on facebook for the pictures and I'll do my best to upload some Christmas morning shots this weekend.
Merry Christmas from the Weber's!

First Steps
Kannon took his first steps last night! We were super excited and just kept passing him back and forth as he waddled to Dan and I. It was fun. Won't be long and he'll be chasing Kate around the house.
We went to Indianapolis for Thanksgiving and had a nice time with Dan's family. We ate lots of yummy food and even got to celebrate Christmas with them. Kate and Kannon loved spending time with their Granny.
Pictures will follow soon. I finally posted Halloween pictures on Facebook, so check them out there. They are a lot easier to upload on there than here. I'll have to figure that out later.

Updates
We've had a busy month since last posting. My parents came to visit over Labor Day weekend and we had fun going to the park and having picnics.
Kate and Kannon started a new preschool/Parents' Day Out program. They both go Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-2. They both seem to really enjoy it.
UT football season began, so our Saturdays include watching "Rocky Top" and cheering them on. Kate likes the idea of watching football with Dan, but it doesn't last long before she's ready to play.
Kate still enjoys anything crafty or creative. She's really into finger painting and sticker books.
Kannon is mobile. Just this week he has started commando crawling. He gets up on his hands and knees, but when he wants to get somewhere he scoots on his belly. He is into everything!
Here are some pictures to enjoy!

A day in the life...
Here's what our day was like today. This is fairly typical, but definitely varies.
5:30am Dan and I woke up to get ready and I did some work
6:30 Dan left for work and I worked some more
7:00 Kannon woke up and drank a bottle
7:30 Kate woke up and we ate breakfast (cereal)
8:00 Kannon ate his breakfast (pears and oatmeal)
9:00 Kannon took a nap while Kate watched Sesame Street while I finished some more work
10:00 Kannon woke up and we got ready to go to Walmart
10:30 Kannon drank a bottle
11:00 Walmart
12:00pm Lunch
1:00 Naps and worktime for me
3:30 Kate and Kannon woke up; Kannon drank a bottle and we played
5:00 Dan got home, played with the kids while I cooked dinner
6:00 Dinner
7:00 Kannon got a bath and drank his last bottle
7:30 Kannon went to bed and Kate got a bath, brushed her teeth and then we read two books
8:00 Kate went to bed, Dan cleaned the kitchen, I started a load of laundry
Now Dan's folding laundry and I'm about to do some more work. I don't typically work this much...I missed a deadline today and so I'm trying to get it done so we can enjoy the weekend.
That's all for now...just stalling from the work I need to get done. :)

Teething and more teething!!!
We are getting teeth...all the way around. Kate is cutting her two year molars and has been complaining about them for a couple weeks now. Hopefully they'll come in soon. Kannon cut his first tooth this week. It's one of the bottom middle teeth. He's been fussy, but otherwise handling it like a champ.
Correction: Kannon is cutting both of his bottom teeth. Today he's acted like he hasn't felt well. Poor guy!
Here are some pictures and a couple videos.
Kate and her Strawberry Shortcake glasses. She got those at her friend's birthday party. She is always carrying something with her. A lot of times it is a baby doll that she is taking care of.
This was two weeks ago when he needed the support of his little seat. It's amazing that in such a short time he can sit up by himself. He's very animated and happy. He mostly likes to play with things that have faces and eyes and it's always a plus if he can get it in his mouth.
Kate got a tricycle for her birthday. She enjoys sitting on it, but we haven't quite mastered the pedals to get it going on her own. Because she's independent she doesn't want help as she practices. She's a hot biker chick!
This looks posed, but I promise this is real. I begged Kate not to get up while I ran to get the camera. Now that Kannon is sitting up she is more interested in him and bringing him toys and books. It's cute to see them interact together now. He adores her and hangs on her every move and word. Dan and I have been talking about how in a couple years they're going to conspire against us! I think they're going to get in a lot of trouble together.
Here's a video of him sitting up after naptime.
Here's a video of them reading together.

SItting Up
Kannon has made great strides this week in sitting up. He can sit up on his own with no support for minutes at a time. He's doing great!
Kate Weber Greyson
When I ask Kate what her name is her response lately has been, "Kate Weber Greyson". She's got the names just not in the correct order.

Summer Fun & Kate's 2nd Birthday
We went down to south GA to visit my parents last week. We also took a side trip to Orlando to visit my brother, his family and some extended family members. We had a great time and it was an adventure to travel with our little ones. They did so well considering all the change we went through. The pictures are in no particular order, simply because they loaded in no particular order. Enjoy

Kate's birthday - I can't believe my little girl is 2. She is a big girl and I'm so proud of her. She loves to take care of her baby dolls. She holds them and changes their diapers. She feeds them their bottle and cereal just like I do for Kannon. It's really cute. She is very crafty. She loves to color and do playdough. She would be a TV junky if I let her. She loves to watch Curious George and Sesame Street. She got Monsters Inc. for her birthday and she loves to watch "Tickle Monster"...that's what she calls it. She likes to play with her friend, Hannah, next door. They give each other a big hug everytime they see one another. They both like to bring an extra toy or snack along to share with each other. She's showing a little more interest in the "big girl potty". Last weekend she told Dan she needed to go "poo-poo" and actually did her business on the potty. I'm so proud and had no issues with giving her a handful of jelly beans afterwards. I'm going to start full-blown potty training next week. Any advice?

Kannon is getting so big. Isn't he a stud? At his 6 month appointment, he weighed 17.5 pounds and is 27.5 inches long. He's growing and developing great. He's rolling all over the place and pushes up on his arms really well. I know it won't be long and he'll be off crawling. He said "mama" for the first time two weeks ago. I was so proud. This week he's discovered "dada" and hasn't stopped saying it. It's so cute! I'm working on capturing a video to share - he stops everytime I point the camera his way. He's chewing and drooling non-stop, but no signs of a tooth. He's eating everything I offer him and doesn't seem too particular. He's still having reflux issues, but he's not in any pain since we started him on antacids a few months ago. It just leaves me with a lot of laundry at the end of every day. He seems much more active and talkative than Kate was at this age. I think we'll have our hands full once he is mobile. He loves to play with toys that have eyes (stuffed animals, etc.). He sits and talks to them like they understand him. It's cute.

Thanks for being patient with me on the blog - it's just not high enough on the priority/to-do list.
Quick update on the grown-ups. Dan's job is going well. He's settling in to the new company and position and starting to get a handle on all the new products he's selling. He's such a great dad - Kate adores her daddy and Kannon just thinks he's hilarious. I'm doing well too. I stay busy all the time with wife, mommy and part-time employee duties. I'm so thankful I get to be home and experience every little thing with my family and wouldn't change it for anything.

Memorial Day Weekend
We started the weekend on Friday night going for a walk in the neighborhood. As we passed our neighbors house, we stopped to talk. The kids (Kate, their 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl) ended up jumping in the little kiddie pool in their clothes. They had a blast jumping around and playing. I didn't have the camera with me to capture the fun.
Saturday we went to Evansville, TN to see our friends, Tim and Missy from our old small group in GA. Kate enjoyed playing with Ansley, their almost 4 year old. She did everything Ansley did. We also got to meet their newest, Peyton. He's a sweet baby.
Sunday was a lazy day and so for Memorial Day we decided to do a picnic lunch at the park so Kate could go play. She had a great time and was worn out! We ended the long weekend with dinner at our neighbors house getting to know them and another family. It's nice to have good neighbors. Here are some pictures and a cute video.

Update
I've fallen off the blogging wagon lately...chalk it up to too much going on. We've had a fun month since Easter.
Kate's Parents' Day Out program took a field trip to the Knoxville Zoo.
Kannon started eating solids (rice cereal and sweet potatoes, so far).
Kate can sing her ABC's and count to 10.
Kannon has rolled over once.
We're enjoying the warmer weather and getting to play outside.
Kannon is trying to sit-up, but needs a lot of support still.
Dan started his new job and it seems to be going pretty well.
Kate listens to Veggie Tales songs non-stop.
Dan and I celebrated 4 years on April 30.
Kate loves to create all kinds of things with playdough.
Kannon is sleeping in his bed for all naps and at night.
Kate enjoys thanking God for our food at dinner-"Amen" is her favorite part that she yells.
We're looking forward to summer and going to our neighbor's pool.
Here are some pictures for you to enjoy. Enjoy!
