13 Months Old

I can't believe how long it's been since the last post. Time is flying! Here are some of the highlights from the past couple of weeks:
-Dan has found multiple black widow spiders in our garage and backyard.
-Renee took an overnight trip by herself while Dan & Kate enjoyed quality time together.
-Kate doesn't crawl any more...she walks everywhere and she has a lot of places to go all day.
-Renee is working part time at home for our friend Casey Graham at ReThink Money.
-Dan started Kate's golf lessons and got her first set of clubs.
-Kate is learning a lot of new words every day. She says "please", "dog", "duck", "shoes", "up", "water"...and more.
-Kate has become very affectionate and gives hugs and kisses all the time.
-Renee's pregnant belly is getting bigger & the baby is kicking a lot.

Here are some fun pictures.

Dan & Kate reading a book and practicing her swing in the backyard.

Kate's favorite thing is to read books and she found a fun place to do it on her horse.

Kate loved having this "fanny pack" on...she didn't care that it isn't cool. She's very interested in feeding herself with her fork.

We go to the doctor on Tuesday for an ultrasound and we're hoping to find out if we're having a boy or girl. We're anxious to find out and begin getting things in order for his/her arrival. I'm certain I'll post something as soon as possible with pictures from the ultrasound.

One last picture...now we cheer for the Vols in our house and will proudly support them this year, but I promise I will NEVER drive a car like this. I'm interested to see what else I'll see as football season gets going this fall.

OMIGOSH!!! The picture of Kate on the horse looking at the camera looks JUST LIKE HER DAD when he was her age! I can't believe the resemblance!

I just saw the huge sheep in the background. Now I can really picture Kate wrestling with it. :)
